A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight – Season 1 (2026) 2-Disc Set Blu-ray
$23.15
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight brings George R.R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg to the screen, set roughly a century before the events of Game of Thrones. The series follows Ser Duncan the Tall, a humble hedge knight, and his young squire Egg as they travel through Westeros. Their adventures blend chivalric idealism with the harsh realities of a kingdom still shaped by old conflicts. It offers a more intimate, character-driven look at the world Martin created.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight adapts George R.R. Martin’s beloved novellas, set about a hundred years before Game of Thrones. The story follows Ser Duncan the Tall, a knight of modest means but strong principles, and his clever young squire Egg as they journey across Westeros.
Unlike the sprawling political conflicts of its predecessor, this series focuses on the pair’s travels and the moral choices they face along the way. Dunk’s commitment to knighthood is tested by tournaments, lords, and the everyday dangers of the road, while Egg’s true identity adds quiet tension to their partnership. The show captures the texture of Martin’s world at a smaller, more human scale.
Fans of the books and the wider franchise appreciate the chance to see a different era of Westeros brought to life. The series offers a warm, adventurous counterpoint to the grand tragedy of the main saga, making it a welcome addition for collectors.
