The Gentlemen is a crime comedy-drama series created by Guy Ritchie, expanding the world of his 2019 film into a serialised story. Theo James stars as Eddie Horniman, a British Army officer who inherits a vast family estate only to learn that it is tied to a powerful criminal operation.
The series follows Eddie as he navigates the competing demands of his aristocratic family, the gangsters who operate on his land, and his own sense of honour. Ritchie’s trademark dialogue, visual flair, and offbeat humour shape each episode, while a strong supporting cast brings the eccentric underworld to life. Across its seasons, the show explores loyalty, ambition, and the collision between old money and new criminal enterprise.
Fans of Ritchie’s films and of stylish British crime storytelling have embraced The Gentlemen for its pace and personality. The complete seasons make a strong addition to a Blu-ray collection for viewers who appreciate sharp writing and a distinctive directorial voice.
