Andor: Seasons 1-2 (2022-2025) 2-Disc Set Blu-ray

Andor is a Star Wars series created by Tony Gilroy, serving as a prequel to Rogue One and following the thief-turned-rebel Cassian Andor as he becomes part of the movement that will eventually challenge the Empire. Diego Luna returns to the role he originated on film, anchoring a story that unfolds across two seasons.

The series expands the Star Wars universe through characters rather than spectacle, showing how surveillance, labour, and fear shape life under Imperial rule. Stellan Skarsgård plays the enigmatic Luthen Rael, Genevieve O’Reilly returns as Mon Mothma, and Adria Arjona, Kyle Soller, and Denise Gough fill out a cast that treats the rebellion as a difficult, morally complicated project. Its pacing is deliberate, its politics are foregrounded, and its action, when it comes, carries real weight because the stakes have been established through character.

For collectors, Andor stands out as a Star Wars story aimed at adult viewers, and its complete two-season arc gives the character a full journey from self-interest to commitment. It is a set that rewards attentive viewing and holds up well on repeat.
