Predator: Badlands is a 2025 entry in the Predator franchise, directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The film shifts perspective by focusing on a young member of the Predator species who is exiled and forced to survive on a dangerous planet.
The story explores themes of identity, honour, and survival as the protagonist navigates a hostile environment and an uneasy partnership with a human character. Elle Fanning leads the human cast, and the film balances creature-driven action with a more character-focused approach than some earlier instalments. Trachtenberg’s direction builds on the grounded style he brought to Prey, while expanding the scope of the Predator universe.
For fans of the franchise and science fiction collectors, Predator: Badlands offers a fresh angle on a long-running series and a visually distinctive addition to the shelf. It is well suited to anyone who enjoys survival stories with a sci-fi edge on Blu-ray.
