Slow Horses: Seasons 1-5 (2022-2025) 6-Disc Set Blu-ray

Slow Horses adapts Mick Herron’s Slough House novels into a sharply written spy drama about MI5 agents who have been relegated to a backwater department after failures and scandals. Their supervisor, Jackson Lamb, is a brilliant and deeply unglamorous veteran whose insight into the intelligence world proves invaluable when crises arise.

Across its first five seasons, the series develops both its central mystery plotting and the relationships among the Slough House team, balancing tension with a distinctive strain of dark humour. Gary Oldman’s performance as Lamb has been widely celebrated, and the supporting cast brings depth to characters who are flawed, funny and unexpectedly capable.

Collectors value this run for its consistency and craftsmanship, and having the first five seasons together makes it easy to follow the arc of the Slough House team from its earliest misadventures onwards. It is an essential set for admirers of British spy fiction and contemporary prestige television.
