Stargate Atlantis: Seasons 1-5 (2004-2009) 5-Disc Set Blu-ray

Stargate Atlantis launched in 2004 as a spin-off from the long-running Stargate SG-1, opening a new chapter of the franchise in the distant Pegasus Galaxy. The series follows the Atlantis expedition, a joint military and scientific team sent through the Stargate to investigate the lost city of the Ancients, only to discover that returning home may be impossible.

Commanded by Elizabeth Weir and led in the field by Major John Sheppard, the team includes the brilliant but anxious Dr. Rodney McKay, the warrior Teyla Emmagan and the imposing Ronon Dex. Together they navigate hostile worlds, uneasy alliances and the constant threat of the Wraith, a terrifying enemy that feeds on human life. Across its run the show balances exploration, combat and the growing bonds between its characters.

For collectors of science fiction television, Stargate Atlantis remains a beloved companion to SG-1 and a rewarding series in its own right. Its mix of serialised storytelling, inventive world-building and strong ensemble cast has kept it in demand among fans who want the complete journey from the first expedition to the final stand.
