Longmire: Seasons 1-6 (2012-2017) 6-Disc Set Blu-ray

Longmire is a contemporary Western crime drama built around Walt Longmire, the stubborn and principled sheriff of a fictional Wyoming county. Adapted from Craig Johnson’s bestselling novels, the series pairs weekly investigations with a long-running mystery about Walt’s late wife, his fractured relationship with his daughter, and the shifting politics of the community he has sworn to protect.

Robert Taylor leads a strong ensemble that includes Katee Sackhoff as Vic Moretti, Lou Diamond Phillips as Henry Standing Bear, and Cassidy Freeman as Cady Longmire. The show’s storytelling moves deliberately, letting cases unfold against the wide plains and mountain towns of the American West while the characters wrestle with questions of justice, loyalty, and cultural tension between the sheriff’s office and the nearby Cheyenne reservation. Its blend of mystery and modern Western melancholy set it apart from conventional network procedurals.

Fans and collectors value Longmire for its complete six-season arc, which follows the series from its original network run through its revival and conclusion on Netflix. The full journey gives viewers the chance to watch Walt’s story build toward its final reckoning without interruption, making the set a natural addition to a shelf of character-driven crime and Western television.
