The Sandman: Seasons 1-2 (2022-2025) 4-Disc Set Blu-ray

The Sandman is a fantasy series adapted from the celebrated comic books written by Neil Gaiman, who developed the show with David S. Goyer and Allan Heinberg. Tom Sturridge plays Dream, the anthropomorphic embodiment of dreams and stories, who rules a realm known as the Dreaming.

After being imprisoned for more than a century, Dream escapes and sets out to rebuild his domain, recovering the tools taken from him and confronting the consequences of his long absence. The series draws on mythology, folklore, and horror as it introduces figures such as Death, Lucifer, and a host of mortals whose lives intersect with Dream’s. Its episodic structure and literary ambitions set it apart from conventional fantasy television.

The show is notable for the care taken in translating Gaiman’s visual and narrative style to the screen, and it appeals to both devoted readers of the comics and viewers discovering the story for the first time. The collected seasons offer a complete look at Dream’s journey so far.
