Remington Steele: Seasons 1-5 (1982-1987) 6-Disc Set Blu-ray

Remington Steele arrived on television in 1982 and quickly became one of the most distinctive detective series of the decade. Created by Robert Butler and Michael Gleason, the show centres on Laura Holt, a determined private investigator who invents a fictional male superior to overcome the scepticism of potential clients. Her plan takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious, charismatic stranger steps into the role, and together they solve cases while navigating an increasingly complicated partnership.

Pierce Brosnan and Stephanie Zimbalist anchor the series with sharp comedic timing and genuine chemistry, supported by a rotating cast of memorable clients and adversaries. The stories blend classic whodunit plotting with screwball romance and a touch of glamour, setting the show apart from the grittier crime dramas of its era. Across five seasons, the series evolved its central relationship while maintaining the light, stylish tone that defined its appeal.

For collectors of 1980s television, Remington Steele remains an enduring favourite, and the complete series offers a satisfying way to experience the full arc of Laura and Remington’s partnership. Fans of classic detective shows and romantic comedy alike will appreciate having every season together in one set.
